Wetter Ebersdorf bei Coburg is a town in the Coburg district of Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the river Itz, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Coburg. The town has a population of around 5,500 people.
Wetter Ebersdorf bei Coburg was first mentioned in a document from 1122. It was granted town rights in 1332. The town was once an important center of the textile industry. However, the industry declined in the 19th century. Today, the town’s economy is based on tourism and light industry.
